Short CV:
ِReza Faghih Mirzaee was born in Tehran in 1982. He graduated in Hardware Engineering from Islamic Azad University (IAU), Qazvin Branch, in 2007. Then, he continued his education at the Science & Research Branch of IAU where he received his Master’s and Ph.D. (both with first-class honors) with a focus on Digital Electronics in 2009 and 2014, respectively. His Ph.D. program was supported and funded by Islamic Azad University and the Iranian Nanotechnology Initiative Council. During his graduate studies, he also worked as a research assistant at the Microelectronics, and the Nanotechnology & Quantum Computing Laboratories of Shahid Beheshti University. Since 2012, Dr. Faghih Mirzaee has been a full-time faculty member with the Shahr-e-Qods Branch of IAU. Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor within the Department of Computer Engineering and teaches several graduate and undergraduate courses. He has published more than 80 scientific papers and served as a reviewer for several reputable international journals and conferences in his areas of expertise, which are VLSI, digital integrated circuits, MVL, and computer arithmetic. He received the university's Most Outstanding Researcher of the Year award twice in 2014 and 2019. Also, he has been promoted to IEEE Senior Member since mid-2020.
